Area Rugs

I am on the hunt for a soft, wool area rug for a guest bedroom. OK, for my guest bedroom. Our house is really old, built in 1920, and the wooden floors are really pretty but very loud. This is my favorite option (above) from Dash & Albert and if it came with that bench, I'd be totally sold. At the last furniture market in High Point, I was really impressed with the collection from Safavieh. This one especially caught my eye. It's a hand-woven, flat weave Dhurrie, which is a thick, non-pile, cotton or wool rug, traditionally from India. Their prices are very reasonable and you can purchase these rugs from retailers like Macy's or Horchow or through an interior designer.

I've always liked this one, from West Elm, but it's not quite right for this room. Wish I could think of another place to use it before they sell out!

And how did I miss this jewel from WS Home? Now it's sold out of the size I need...maybe I can call one of their stores to find one for me! Great price! Cotton instead of wool, but that's OK.
