NC Artists

"Joy" by Molly Sieburg Courcelle

My mother encouraged us to be creative from an early age and as a result, I have always been drawn to visual arts and artistic self-expression. That has influenced my outlook and approach to life for as long as I can remember. I admire those who follow their passions and write a book, paint a picture, make music, take pictures...even, and especially, without the anticipation or fear of anothers judgement.

"Old Goldie" by Bee Sieburg

We are fortunate to live in an area of the country where the arts and support of the arts is abundant and encouraged. Two of my favorite artists, who happen to be family friends, are Molly Courcelle and her mother Bee Sieburg. Both use oil as their medium and display their work in River Arts District in Asheville, along the French Broad River and very close to downtown. I can't wait to visit while I'm in Asheville this summer. You can also find Bee's work at one of my favorite spots in Biltmore Village, The Gardner's Cottage.
